Here are some basic principles of how we will peak in the surf culture:

Our Local Surf Shops
We’re called partners, because we work together. We can create a virtual place where surfers can find what they need in a local way.  We provide a free online surf map that store owners can use to list their shop and local information. Shop owners will have the ability to advertise right on the map, which will give a local shop the ability to build a global name and become a destination as well as a fixture at the local surf break.

Our Surfers
Every surfer is part of our community, and we make it our responsibility to be a helpful resource to make it easier for you to do what you want to do, surf. We want to invite you in to use our map and help us support the local surf shop. We can be a force for positive action— bringing together our partners, surfers, and the culture to contribute to our cause every day. Now we see that our responsibility—and our potential for good—is even larger. The surf culture will soon be looking to Peaks and Barrels to set a new standard in online surf innovation.

As travelers and surfers we take our planet very seriously and are advocates of our water, trees, and air.  We look forward to partnering with companies that share in an eco-friendly way of living.
